Burial was in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows cemetery, Victor. Pallbearers were Milo Heck, Alan McClenathan, Raymond and Robert Rinehart, Charles Ranfeld and Marlan McWilliams, all of rural Guernsey. Myrle David Mohr was born Feb. 28, 1908 in Lincoln township, Iowa county, the son of Frank Joseph and May Coats Mohr. He was baptized and later confirmed at the Victor Methodist church and attended school at Guernsey, graduating from high school in 1926. On Feb. 28, 1944 he was married to Mathilda Schafbuch at Marengo. Following their marriage they resided south of Victor until 1973 when they moved into Victor. After Mrs. Mohr died in July 1983 he continued to reside in Victor until becoming a resident of the extended care facility at the Marengo Memorial hospital. He is survived by two brothers, Everett, Victor; and LaVerne, San Jose, Calif., and six sisters, Velma (Mrs. LaVerne Fullmer, Arcadia, Calif. Cleya Schultz, Des Moines, Lula (Mrs. Cecil Cranston), Williamsburg; Nan Yount, Olympia, wash., and Ella Mae (Mrs. Ray) Lyon, Minneapolis, Minn. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Earl, and one sister, Perle, who died in infancy.
