Mrs. Martin was born September 2, 1923 in Marion County, a daughter to the late Butler Ammons and the late Lena Ammons Lane. She had retired from Herbert Mills as a Supervisor. She had retired from Herbert Mills as a Supervisor. She was a member of Ariel Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Martin are a daughter, Joyce J. Floyd of Spartanburg; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Martin also had five sisters and 2 brothers. Mrs. Martin was predeceased by her first husband, Robert L. Johnson; her second husband, Lloyd L. Martin, and a daughter, Sylvia J. Bullard. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning, June 23 in the Sanctuary of Ariel Baptist Church, with Rev. Darrell Floyd and Rev. Paul Wall officiating.
