Description	:	Son of Butler and Lena Mae Collins Ammons. MARION - Howard Foster Ammons, 12 year old son of Mrs. Butler Ammons of the Centenary section of Marion County, died last midnight in a Mullins hospital from injuries received earlier in the evening when his bicycle and a car driven by Jessie Williams, collided on the Marion-Centenary highway. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30, conducted by Rev. J. A. Langley at Reedy Creek Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Jackson, Misses Vera, Eloise and Doris Ammons, all of Centenary, and Mrs. Henry Grice of Marion; and two brothers, Grover and Biscoe Ammons of Centenary. The lad was a student at Centenary school. The tragedy marked the third violent death of young persons in that community, following by only two weeks the accident which claimed the lives of J. T. Faile, 16, and Carroll C.
