She was born May 21, 1924, in Defiance County, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Hornish) Bishop. In 1958, she married Kenneth Blosser Sr., who died in 1973. In 2001, she married Gerald Otte, who died in 2005. She was a machine operator at Strydel for 15 years, retiring in 1994, and also worked at Campbell Soup Supply Co., Napoleon, for five years and GM Powertrain for seven years. She was born May 21, 1924, in Defiance County, the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Hornish) Bishop. In 1958, she married Kenneth Blosser Sr., who died in 1973. In 2001, she married Gerald Otte, who died in 2005. She was a machine operator at Strydel for 15 years, retiring in 1994, and also worked at Campbell Soup Supply Co., Napoleon, for five years and GM Powertrain for seven years. She was a member of Poplar Ridge Church of the Brethren, VFW Post 3360 Auxiliary, Paulding Eagles Aerie 2405 Auxiliary, Moose Lodge 2094 Auxiliary and Ohio Historical Society. Surviving are two sons, Joe (Beverly) Blosser of Defiance and Jack (Kris) Blosser, Oregonia; a daughter, Sharyn Deatrick, Defiance; four stepsons, Kenneth Blosser Jr. of Urbana, David (Dortha) Blosser of Mark Center, Jerry (Wendy) Otte of Defiance and Orville "Lannie" (Rose-Mary) Alexander, Bryan; three stepdaughters, Gloria (Tim) Connolly of Defiance, Yvonne (Jerry) Blosser-Castillo of Mark Center, and Linda Otte, Paulding ; a sister, Veda Rittenhouse, Camden, Mich.; and nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren. Also preceding her in death were a son, Robert Blosser; a daughter, Sandra Pelland; three brothers, Charles, Ray and Wayne Bishop; a sister, Alta Mayle; and a stepgrandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Poplar Ridge Church of the Brethren with Rev. Patricia Meeks officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Mast-Mock-Hoffman-Hanenkrath-Clevenger Schaffer Funeral Home, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church. Pallbearers were Barton and Dale Rittenhouse, Ron Wyse, Jonathon and Joseph Blosser, Scott Vielma and Ron Bishop. Honorary pallbearer was Jarred Blosser.
