Description	:	The Clyde Republican Thursday, May 24, 1962 NARCISSE MARCOTTE DEAD Narcisse A. Marcotte, native of the Clyde community died Sunday morning, May 20th at St. Joseph Hospital following a year’s illness. He was 74 years of age. Mr. Marcotte was born Jan. 5, 1888 near Clyde, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Marcotte. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was married Feb. 25, 1908 to Martha Jette at Aurora. They farmed in the Aurora and Clyde communities until 1942 when they moved to Clyde. Mrs. Marcotte died Dec. 2, 1956. On Feb. 1, 1962 Mr. Marcotte moved to St. Anne’s Home for the Aged in Concordia. He is survived by eight children: Miss Irene Marcotte of Topeka; Anthony J., of Van Nuys, Calif., Louella, now Mrs. Leonard Langvin, Stockton, Calf., Lucinda, now Mrs. Arthur Genereux, Stockton, Raymond R., Concordia; Edmond of Clyde; Melina, now Mrs. Victor Hamel, Stockton; Wilbert of Hutchinson; 19 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; three brothers; Ferdinand of aurora, Alcid of Topeka, one sister, Mrs. Frank Hubert of Clyde. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock in the Catholic Church at Clyde and interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
