Nelda was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her brothers, Harold Criss and Lloyd Criss. She is survived by her daughters, Linda McClain (Billie) and Diana Hunt (Jim), her sister, Beulah Spaulding, grandchildren Kelly Smith (Jenci), Jeremy Hunt (Gina), Jonathan Hunt (Lavonne), Sarah Katoa (Semisi), Rachel Walden (Joe), Naomi Cambridge (Levi), Tammy Hunt, Madelynn Barmby (Chris), Molly McClain, Maggie Carmona (Javier), 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She is survived by her daughters, Linda McClain (Billie) and Diana Hunt (Jim), her sister, Beulah Spaulding, grandchildren Kelly Smith (Jenci), Jeremy Hunt (Gina), Jonathan Hunt (Lavonne), Sarah Katoa (Semisi), Rachel Walden (Joe), Naomi Cambridge (Levi), Tammy Hunt, Madelynn Barmby (Chris), Molly McClain, Maggie Carmona (Javier), 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Nelda loved to bowl and was a member of the Coffee Breakers League for over 40 years. She loved gardening and had a beautiful rose garden in her yard. She was an excellent seamstress and sewed clothes for her girls all through their school years. She liked to keep her hands busy with knitting, chrocheting and making candy, and taught those skills to her girls and grandchildren. She was a member of All Hallows Parish and a member of the Altar Society for many years. Friends are invited to Rosary services on August 23rd at 7:00 pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday morning August 24th at 11:00 a.m. at All Hallows Church, 5500 13th Avenue, Sacramento. Entombment will be private.
