The Rev. Albert Wetzel officiated a the final rites. Pall bearers at the last rites were Otto Mueller, Dan Mueller, R.A. Walker, Emil Fandrick, Marvin R. Mueller and Jacob Huber. Read More	Nellie Barnett Last Rites Held At Golden Valley Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Barnett, 89, formerly of Golden Valley, were held from the Congregational church in Golden Valley Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Albert Wetzel officiated a the final rites. Pall bearers at the last rites were Otto Mueller, Dan Mueller, R.A. Walker, Emil Fandrick, Marvin R. Mueller and Jacob Huber. Interment was made at the Juzeler cemetery west of Golden Valley. The Aarthun Funeral Home of Beulah was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barnett, who had been making her home at a nursing home at Strasburg, padded away Sunday morning, Dec. 20, in a Linton hospital, where she had been hospitalized for a month. Mrs. Barnett was the daughter of William Haroff and Elizabeth Thompson Haroff. She was born April 7, 1875, at Andover, Mo., and grew to womanhood there. She was married to Melvin Barnett Nov. 9, 1899, at Andover. Mr. Barnett preceded her in death in 1930. The Barnett's lived at Andover until 1905, when they came to Mercer county and homesteaded 15 miles northwest of Golden Valley. From 1951 until 1955, Mrs. Barnett lived in Golden Valley. She had made her home with her son in Mandan and with her daughter in Casper, Wyo., until last August, when she entered the nursing home in Strasburg. Mrs. Barnett is survived by two sons, Raymond of Bismarck and Vernon of Mandan, and a daughter, Mrs. C.H. (Elizabeth) Schmidt of Casper, WY. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two Great-great-gradchildren. A daughter, five brothers and two sisters preceded Mrs. Barnett n death.
