Description	:	Netta Ellen Schwarz was born February 19, 1895, near Marysville, Kansas, the daughter of John and Susan Walters Hafner. She passed away February 23, 1976 in the Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville at the age of 81 years and four days. Mrs. Schwarz graduated from the Marysville High School and taught school for several years in Marshall County. On April 11, 1917, she was married to Otto Schwarz at her parents home near Marysville. She passed away February 23, 1976 in the Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville at the age of 81 years and four days. Mrs. Schwarz graduated from the Marysville High School and taught school for several years in Marshall County. On April 11, 1917, she was married to Otto Schwarz at her parents home near Marysville. To this union were born three children, Kenneth of Home, Kansas; Virginia Bigger of Marysville, Kansas; and Victor of Nelson, Nebraska. Mrs. Schwarz lived 51 years on the farm east of Marysville until she and her husband moved to Marysville in 1968. She had gone to the farm as a bride and there she raised her family and spent the most active years of her life. Mrs. Schwarz was a life long member of the Marysville Christian Church. She taught Sunday School for many years and also had served as a Deaconess. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry and Frank Hafner; and one sister, Pauline Koken. She is survived by her husband, Otto, of the home; her three children; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mabel Moore; and one brother, Leroy Hafner as well as many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
