Jaques, 78, died early Siunday (28 Aug 1955) at her home at 309 E. Lowe St. in Fairfield. She had been seriously ill for the past week. Last rites will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Jaques July 3, 1898 at Floris. Mrs. Jaqaues was a member of the Christian church at Floris and the Degree of Honor at Eldon. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Charles Jaques and Mrs. Harold B. Thoma of Fairfield and Mrs. Oren Harrell of Altoona, Iowa. Five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters surv ive: Mrs. Frank Rizor, Fairfield; Mrs. Oren Thompson, Floris; Mrs. Clyde McClure, Eldon; Mrs. Lil Lepper, Pasadena, Calif; John and Bert Huffman, Batavia; and William Huffman, Floris.
