Burial was in the Fenlon family lot in the Catholic cemetery. Mr. Fenlon was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Fenlon, early-day residents of Butler couinty. He came to Butler couinty when a child with his parents, 60 years ago. He was employed on farms near David City during his lifetime. Two brothers, T. E. Fenlon of Sioux City, Iowa, and George Fenlon, living in New Mexico, survive him. The service was conducted by Rev. Wm. Richards. The pall bearers were Joe Havel, Wm. Bates, John Knott, Geo. Hilger, Wm. Graf and Frank Peschek. Mrs. Edna Shores, and Miss Alice Etting sang “Abide With Me,” accompanied by Mrs. G. H. Penrod. Facts concerning the early life of the deceased are not available, but old settlers state that he came to the county nearly 60 years ago as a small boy. His father at one time owned the farm now occupied by Henry Bock. He is survived by two brothers, George of New Mexico, and Ed of Sioux City, Ia.
