| Description | : | Originally I thought that the Father of Nimrod Stover was Jacob Stover son of Peter Stover the founder of Strasburg. After further investigation I found that Nimrod became an Orphan somewhere around 1816 - 1818 When both of his parents passed away. Christian Stover's (Stauffer) will leaves Nimrod 150 dollars for his education. Christian is also the son of Peter Stover who founded Strasburg VA and also has a letter written to him from President George washington about the planning of the town.
