Description	:	Noah Goodrich, son of Allen Goodrich and Lydia North, was born about 1761 in Kensington, Hartford, CT. Before Jul 1768, Noah had moved with his family to Pittsfield, Berkshire, MA, and then by May 1773 moved again to Lenox, Berkshire, Massachusetts, from which Noah served in the Revolutionary War. His connection to his sister Ruth, which connects Noah to his father Allen Goodrich, was revealed when his sister Ruth (Goodrich) Carr deposed on 12 Sep 1838, for his Revolutionary War widow's pension file W21204, that the late Noah Goodrich was her brother (photo attachment). Also, in an earlier 28 Oct 1784 deed, Caleb Carr of New Canaan, Albany, New York; father-in-law of Ruth (Goodrich) Carr, sold a half-share (50 acres) of property in Middlebury, Addison, Vermont to her brothers Jacob Goodrich and Noah Goodrich of Lenox (photo attachment). Noah Goodrich did not follow his parents and brothers Allen and Jacob when they migrated to Saratoga County, New York by the 1790s and lived out the remainder of their lives in New York. Noah and his wife Martha both lived out their lives in Lenox.
