She was born September 22, 1918 to Oscar and Bessie (Francies) Koch on a farm near Bee. She graduated from Tamora High School in 1936. Norma Koch and Meyer Anderson married January 1, 1940, and lived on a farm southeast of Beaver Crossing for most of their married life. The couple became parents to four children: Richard, Kathryn, Blaine, and John. Norma was active in church and community activities throughout her life. She belonged to the Beaver Crossing United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Mission Sewing Group, 'N' Homemakers' Club, and Kensington Club. Norma served as an officer in those organizations at various times. During her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, quilting, playing cards, reading, and rooting for her favorite sports teams. Norma was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She was gentle and compassionate to all who knew her, and always had a warm, welcome smile. Norma is survived by her husband, Meyer of Friend; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Agnes Anderson of Danville, Indiana, and their children, Michael, Elizabeth, Stephen, and Jonathan; daughter and son-in-law Kathryn and Ervin Dvorak of Kansas City, Missouri, and their children Brenda Cunningham and husband Lee, Lynn, and Matthew and his wife Cerena; son and daughter-in-law Blaine and Jody Anderson of Beaver Crossing and their children, Ashley, Cole, Hayley, and Lindsey; son and daughter-in-law John and Cindy Anderson of Cuba City, Wisconsin, and their children Mary, Julie, and Paul; three great-grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, and Kallen Cunningham; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mildred and Walter Wehmeyer of Minnespolis, Minnesota; niece Marcia Wehmeyer; nephews Bob Anderson and Carlisle Anderson; cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Bessie Koch; an infant brother Lester; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Viola and Donnie Anderson; parents-in-law, John and Ella Anderson; grandson, David Anderson; and niece Marlene Beneke.
