Description	:	Norma Marie Noler Carr was born to Edward John and Hannah Marie Staehr Noler at Cordova, Nebraska on November 6, 1921. She attended school at Cordova and Beaver Crossing, Nebraska. On October 12, 1938 she was united in marriage to Dale Carr, and to this union two children were born, Robert Dale and Judith Ann. She attended school at Cordova and Beaver Crossing, Nebraska. On October 12, 1938 she was united in marriage to Dale Carr, and to this union two children were born, Robert Dale and Judith Ann. Norma and Dale lived in Beaver Crossing following their wedding and moving to live in California in 1939 and 1940. They returned to the Beaver Crossing area in 1946, farming near Cordova. In 1953, they moved nearer to Beaver Crossing, continuing to farm and Norma Started cooking for the Beaver Crossing schools system (1954-1965). A farm sale was held in 1960 and Dale and Norma moved to town. Norma cooked at the Utica Rest Home until poor health forced her to retire in 1984. In 1984 she had open heart surgery. She was confirmed June 16, 1935 at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cordova, Nebraska and has been a member of the United Methodist Church at Beaver Crossing for several years. She enjoyed cooking at the Beaver Crossing School with her mother, loved needlework, her family, and had compassion for the poor and underprivileged. Grandsons were the "apple of her eye" and she loved to write as the Lord gave her inspiration. She died May 3, 1990 at Friend, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband, Dale, of Beaver Crossing; son and wife, Robert and Sharon of Sierra Vista, Arizona; daughter Judith and husband, Don Stutzman of Beaver Crossing, Nebraska; six grandsons, Michael and wife Joyce; Doug and wife, Devon; and Patrick Carr. Craig Stutzman and wife, Christina, Thomas and Kirk Stutzman; one foster grandson, Bradley Carr and two foster great-grandsons, Jams and Phillip Duncan; two brothers, Merle Noler and wife Joan of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and Berle Noler and wife, Sherry of Beaver Crossing; a sister, Jeanette and her husband Burdette "Butch" Pankoke of Fairmont, Nebraska and sister, Mildred and husband William "Bill" Hamilton of Maywood, California. An individual life cannot be contained in words but our hearts overflow with the life of our loved one in memories and hope. Jesus was the life of Norma.
