Description	:	Nyle was born January 14, 1923, to Cassius and Viola Howe at the Howe farm. He attended Marathon Consolidated School and graduated with the class of 1941. On July 12, 1941, he married Marian Jenkinson of Marathon. In 1942 he entered the U.S. Army and served in World War II until 1945. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. After his discharge from the service, he began farming in the Marathon community and continued to farm, until his death. He attended Marathon Consolidated School and graduated with the class of 1941. On July 12, 1941, he married Marian Jenkinson of Marathon. In 1942 he entered the U.S. Army and served in World War II until 1945. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. After his discharge from the service, he began farming in the Marathon community and continued to farm, until his death. After the death of his wife, Marian, he married Jerry Lou Maiden at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, December 10, 1983. Preceding him in death were his father; and wife — Marian. Survivors include his mother Viola; wife — Jerry Lou; one son — Cassius, Kingsley; one daughter — Mrs. Steve Konz, Hartford; two brothers — Trevor Howe, Ames; and Gale Howe, Sibley; one sister — Mrs. Kenneth Reese, Laurens; one stepson — Galen Maiden, Golden, Colo.; two stepdaughters — Janice Clausen, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Rhond a Maiden , Anaheim , Calif.; and six grandchildren.
