Description	:	Last rites for Oliver Henry Espey, 27, a lifetime resident of rural Hartley and the Melvin area, will be held here today, January 16, at 1:30 p.m. in the Methodist church. Rev. Keith Scott will officiate. Interment will be made in Harrison Township cemetery. Baumgarten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He passed away Monday evening at the Spencer hospital from injuries received in an accident Monday morning on Highway 71 Highway 18 of Spencer just west of the intersection south The propane gas transport truck he was driving left the road and overturned about 5:15 a.m. Monday, according to Spencer police. Cause of the accident is not known, but there is some conjecture that he may have been forced off the road by a passing vehicle. Mr. Espey was pinned in the cab of the truck and when admitted to the Spencer hospital was in critical condition. His death came at about 7 o'clock that evening. Two cranes were necessary to lift and right the fully loaded tanker. It was necessary to reroute traffic while this operation was underway.
