Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie B. Day, pioneer resident of Villisca and vicinity were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. L. H. They. Mrs. Day died here Tuesday evening of last week following an extended illness. She had been in failing health since she broke her hip several weeks ago. Pall bearers were Ed Reynolds, Glen Fengel, Wade Scholey, Robert Moore, Fred Bryson, and John Dunn. Interment was beside the decease’s husband in the Villisca Cemetery, Pitman Funeral Home in charge. Ollie B. Willett was born May 23, 1874 near North Henderson, Illinois and was 77 years old at her death. She was united in marriage September 7, 1896 to Omer Day and to them were born two children, Mrs. Lawrence Focht, and Elwin Day, both of Villisca. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by her husband on March 2, 1951, also by her parents and one sister. Besides he two children, she leaves a sister, Mrs. L. B.
