Rev. Eugene W. Nilsen officiated. Music was by E. O. Overland, organist, and Mrs Margaret Busha and Mrs A. R. McDonnell rwho sang, "Den Stor Hevide Flok," and "Heaven Is My Home." Olufine Stenberg was born at Aalgard, Norway, November 2, 1892, a daughter of Mr and Mrs Fanuel Berland. She spent her early years in her home town of Aalgard and received her schooling there. She came from Norway to the United States and to Big Timber in 1910 and was employed at McDonnell's and the Hathaway ranch. She married Sven Stenberg, January 2, 1914 at Big Timber and they resided on various ranches in this vicinity until his death on February 21, 1967 when she moved to Big Timber to make her home. She was a life long member of the Lutheran church. Survivors include two sons, Otto and Stanley Stenberg, both of Big Timber; three daughters, Mrs James E. (Frances) Hendricks of Billings; Mrs Oscar (Gladys) Stephens and Mrs Gus (Signy) Kirchner both of Big Timber; a sister, Kristine Larson of Warm Springs, Mont.; 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
