On June 2, 1915, he was married to Nettie Hooley, who preceded him in death on Dec. 16, 1964. On Jan. 20, 1968, he was married to Vivian Olson, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Russel and Duane) and one daughter (Kathryn).
