Description	:	Omer Legg, former Tipton business man, but for several years a resident of Michigan, was found dead in a hotel room at Genoa, Ohio, ten miles from Toledo, Tuesday morning. His wife was notified and she in turn gave the word to the son, John Legg, and family, of this city. The Leatherman-Morris ambulance left Tuesday afternoon to bring the body to the funeral home here, but no arrangements have been made for services. His wife was notified and she in turn gave the word to the son, John Legg, and family, of this city. The Leatherman-Morris ambulance left Tuesday afternoon to bring the body to the funeral home here, but no arrangements have been made for services. To the many friends of Mr. Legg, his sudden death comes as a shock, but, to his family, has death had been expected at any time. They knew for the past two years that he was subject to heart attacks, and they tried to persuade him to leave the road, but he could not do so. Each time he left on a trip, his wife feared for the worst. Mr. Legg, who was 70 years of age, was the son of Arthur M. and Sarah (Owen) Legg, pioneers of Wildcat township. The father was one of the prominent men of the county and died in this city in 1896, having moved here in 1892. The deceased was married to Miss Jessie Swoveland of this city, and two children were born, John, of this city, and Robert, of Fenton, Michigan, a small town near the home of the parents, at Howell, Michigan. Besides the widow and the two sons surviving, there is one sister, Mrs. Nannie Grishaw, of this city. For many years, Mr. Legg was engaged in the shoe business in Tipton. At one time he was in partnership with his son, John, and with his nephew, Will Zehner. In 1923, Mr, Mr. Legg and his family moved to Detroit and for a short time he sold shoes on the road. Then he became a representative of the McIntosh Broom Company of this city, a position he held until the last. He represented the Tipton company in Michigan and northern Ohio. He was a member of the Christian church and the Masonic Lodge.
