Mr. Ayers passed away at 9 a.m., November 28 at Charles City, Iowa, as a result of a stroke and heart ailment at the age of 66 years and two months. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Grossman funeral home at Charles City, Iowa, and short services and burial was here in Evergreen cemetery Tuesday. When a small boy Mr. Ayers moved to Nebraska with his parents, later moving to Kansas. He was united in marriage with Miss Rose Stuchlik on November 21, 1900 at Hill City, Kansas. To this union were born three daughters. One passed away at infancy, while the other two are Mrs. Earl Daddow of Charles City, Iowa, and Mrs. Wayne McPherson of Red Oak, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Ayers made their home at Orleans, Nebraska for 32 years. Eight years ago they moved to Red Oak, Iowa. In February 1940 they moved to Charles City, Iowa, where they made their home with their daughter, Mrs. Earl Daddow. Surviving Mr. Ayers are his wife, Mrs. Rose Ayers, two daughters, Mrs. Daddow and Mrs. McPherson, his mother, Amanda Ayers of Kirwin, Kansas, one brother, Earl Ayers of Ft. Morgan, Colorado, five sisters, Zella Spicer of Glade, Kansas, Mrs. Earl Rasmussen and Ethel Garrett of Kirwin, Mrs. Arva Royce, Long Beach, California, and Mrs. Mary Lindsay of Omaha, also three grandchildren, Donald, Norma and Enola Daddow of Charles City, Iowa. Among those from out of time attending the services here were: Mrs. O. F. Ayers, Mrs. Earl Daddow, and E. J. Knipschield of Charles City, Iowa, Mrs. Wayne McPherson of Red Oak, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rasmussen and Mrs. Ethel Garrett of Kirwin, Kansas, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ayers of Ft.
