Description	:	The Canton (KS) Pilot, Friday, Dec. 7, 1900 Died: Mrs. Orrilla Coats, Monday morning, December 3rd, at 2 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Ledbetter. Orrilla Moffitt was born at Winchester, Indiana, March 18, 1837, and was united in marriage to Nathan Coats at Winchester, Ind., March 15, 1855, who died at his home near Roxbury, Kansas, on August 12, 1880[sic]. Orrilla Moffitt was born at Winchester, Indiana, March 18, 1837, and was united in marriage to Nathan Coats at Winchester, Ind., March 15, 1855, who died at his home near Roxbury, Kansas, on August 12, 1880[sic]. E. church Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock and the remains laid to rest in the Canton cemetery "Art sleeping, Angel mother? The holy prayer was said, And-earth to earth and dust to dust-- We laid thee with the dead. Gently we laid our treasure down, In faith and holy trust. And sweetly In the green graveyard Doth sleep thy precious dust, Art sleeping, Angel mother? Upon the Savior's breast, Safe, safe within the precious fold Our mother she doth rest.
