Mr. Finch leaves five sisters and two brothers, as follows: Mrs. Geo. W. Cromer, Mrs. D. W. Cromer, Mrs. Crozier, Mrs. Calvin Steck and Mr. Plen Finch, all of whom live in or near Aurora, Ill., Mrs. M. E. Hollister and George Finch, who live in this county.... Mr. Orrin Stevens Finch was born in New York state May 25, 1849. Died at his home five miles north of Fullerton July 25, 1995 being 56 years, and 2 months old. When but a small boy he came with his parents to Illinois where he was later married to Sarah Jane Vrooman December 8, 1875. There were born to them 13 children. Ten of them still survive him and with his wife mourn his loss. He united in membership with the M. E. Church in 1886 and has remained faithful and consistent to the end. He came to Nebraska in the fall of 1887 and moved to the farm which he occupied at the time of his death. Mr. Finch is a member of the Woodmen of the World and Banker's Union of the World. The widow and children have the heartfelt sympathy of the community and entire county.
