Description	:	Funeral services for Orval Allen Gant, 52, held Monday, June 8 at the Siam Church of Christ, were conducted by Clarence Potter. Mr. Gant died at his home June 5, 1964. Interment was in Siam cemetery, Siam, Ia. Orval Gant, son of Charles [Newton] Gant and Florence [Idell] Goodrich Gant, was born in Mason Township Jan. 25, 1912. He received his elementary education in the North Star school and was graduated from New Market High School in 1930. To this couple three children were born, Roger [Allen] who is serving with the army in Germany, Mrs. David (Karlolyn) Hughes of New Market; Mrs. Clark (Lorene) Davison of Clarinda. Mr. Gant was very active in the Christian Church of Siam of which he was a life long member. He is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters, one grandson, four sisters, Mrs. Wilber (Mabel) Carmichael of Clarinda, Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Allison of Calif., Mrs. John (Alma) Bix and Mrs. Ernest (Ethel) Gray of Bedford
