The remains were brought to this place Monday for interment, attended by the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bean of Douglas twp, and several friends of the family. Rev. Shipman of Red Oak conducted the services. The Masonic Order here was in attendance and followed the remains to the cemetery. Deceased was 28 years old. He was a faithful employee of the B. & M. road and would taken charge of an engine this month. He leaves a wife, daughter of Mrs. Wm. Stewart, of this place and a five-year-old son. His life was insured for $ 3,000, and his family will probably secure heavy damages from the R. R. Company, as the evidence of negligence in the care of the track is abundant.
