Description	:	Funeral services for Otis Perkins will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 28, 2006 in the Occupy # I Baptist Church in Pitkin with the Rev. Brad Perkins officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Army honor guards from Fort Polk. Committal services will follow in the Occupy #I Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale. He was born on March 23, 1923 to the union of Caleb Perkins and Stacy Mancil Perkins in Oakdale. He was a member of the Occupy # I Baptist Church, Owner and Operator of the Perkins Grocery and Gas Station and a retired machinist from the Calcasieu Paper Co. in Elizabeth. Mr. Perkins was also a WWII veteran of the United States Army, a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceding him in death were his parents, Caleb and Stacy Perkins; one son, Donald C. Perkins; one daughter, Cala M. Perkins Hyatt; one grandson, Benjamin Hyatt and one great-grandson, Chance Clark. Friends may call today in the church from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of service in the church.
