Read More	The Brownsburg Record, August 20, 1947 PAT ROACH One of the best known stock buyers in this section of Indiana passed away Wednesday evening at the home of his mother, Mrs. Delia Roach, Mill Street, following a heart seizure. He had been ill for a day or so, but his death was unexpected. Pat Roach, 50, son of the late Tom and Delia Roach, was born and reared around Brownsburg and had been associated with the father in the buying and selling of stock. For a time he was owner and operator of what is now known as the Campbell Dry Goods Store. For the past three years he has been associated with Laurel Burns in the sale pavilion west of town. He entered military service in World War I, having received severe wounds and at his death carried a piece of shrapnel near his heart. He was a member of St. Malachy's church here and of the Brownsburg Lincoln Post No. 331 American Legion. Besides the mother, Mrs. Delia Roach surviving in the late home, he leaves to mourn his passing five sisters, Mrs. Mary Gibbs, Brownsburg, Mrs. Kenneth Garner, Danville, Mrs. Genevieve Miller, Seattle, Washington, Miss Helen Roach, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Loretta Hart of Indianapolis. He is survived by several nieces and nephews who loved him very much. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Malachy's church, north Green Street, the Rev. Father Thomas Hoffman officiating. Interment will be made in St. Malachy's cemetery here. Jones & Matthews service.
