Description	:	LEFEVER, PAUL—Paul Lefever was born January 19, 1890, at the farm home near Strang, the eldest son of Daniel and Elizabeth Rohrer Lefever. He passed away at the Fillmore County hospital Thursday, June 28, 1979, at the age of 89 years. Paul attended country school in District No. 57. Read More	LEFEVER, PAUL—Paul Lefever was born January 19, 1890, at the farm home near Strang, the eldest son of Daniel and Elizabeth Rohrer Lefever. He passed away at the Fillmore County hospital Thursday, June 28, 1979, at the age of 89 years. Paul attended country school in District No. 57. He began farming in 1907 after the death of his father. Besides farming, he was an avid reader, especially in the subjects of mechanics and electricity. He became so proficient that he kept his own machinery in good repair. His hobbies were photography, old gasoline engines and other machinery, which he acquired, repaired and used. His entire life was spent on the home farm. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nora E. Lefever; and a brother, Ralph. He is survived by one sister, Maude L. Lewis of York; three nephews, one niece, great nephews and nieces. Funeral services were conducted from Farmer & Son funeral home in Geneva at 2 p.m., Saturday June 30, 1979. Lee Schlegel officiated. Organist was Mrs. David Waldron. Pallbearers were Warren, Ken, Wayne, Craig and John Lefever, and Charley M. Hobbs. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal 5 July 1979 page 5.
