Loren Werth officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora. Mr. Racette died Sunday at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City. He was born Dec. 16, 1894, at Clyde. He was a retired farmer and had lived in Concordia since January. Before than he had farmed near Aurora, then in Clay County, and later moved to Clifton. He was a member of the Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Clyde. Surviving are his wife, Florence, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Emma Jean Woodruff, Salina; Mrs. Olene Senner and Mrs. Lou Ann Stalder, both of Clay Center; three sons, Ansel, San Bernardino, Calif.; Leland, Colorado Springs, Colo,, and Farrell, El Cajon, Calif.; two brothers, Delphos, Clyde, and Bill, Oakley; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia, where friends may call.
