Crabill, 82, lost his battle with cancer at Canyon Lakes Rehabilitation Center in Kennewick, with his wife Doris by his side. He was born on March 20, 1929 at Deaconess Hospital to John and Lucy Crabill of the Spokane Valley, where he grew up with his sister Carol (Crabill) Davis. He had a diversified work field that ranged from cooking, while in the Navy Reserves, to the Lube Man for the Ford Garage Dealership in Spokane. He met his first wife, June (Varney) Crabill on a blind date that resulted in their marriage on Sept. 4, 1954. They continued to live in the Spokane area while he went into a business partnership with his best friend, Roy McManaman, owning several gas stations. In 1968, he moved his wife and 2 children, Mark Crabill and Malissa (Crabill) Reynolds to Chelan to open Lake City Auto Supply. His elderly aunts and uncles became ill in 1986, resulting in selling the family business to care for them. During these years, Paul was involved in both the Boy Scouts and FFA and chaperoned many trips. Paul was a family oriented individual and cared not only for his family and friends, but also for his beloved schnauzers and traveling. He loved to camp and RV all over the United States and Canada with his family. Old wooden boats and the color green were also among his favorite things. Paul and Doris met through his brother-in-law, Jack Wicker, and were married on March 14, 2000. They resided in the Kennewick area, when they were not off being snow birds. He is survived by his wife, Doris Crabill; sister, Carol Davis; son, Mark Crabill; daughter, Malissa (Crabill) Reynolds; grandchildren, LeRoy and Tianna Hankins; great-granddaughter, Isabella Hankins; niece, Lavonne (Davis) Whitaker; nephew, Kevin Davis; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucy Crabill and wife, June E. Crabill. A memorial service will be held at Mueller's Funeral Home in Kennewick on May 19, 2012, at 11 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please send a donation to a Humane Society of your choice.
