Description	:	Having been in failing health, Pauline Freese died at Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls, SD, on Saturday morning, Mar. 16, 1996. She attained the age of 87 years, one month, and 20 days. Pauline "Polly" Marie Freese was born on a farm in Turner County, near Chancellor, SD, on Jan. 26, 1909, the daughter of John and Dena (Wibben) Ysbrand. She attained the age of 87 years, one month, and 20 days. Pauline "Polly" Marie Freese was born on a farm in Turner County, near Chancellor, SD, on Jan. 26, 1909, the daughter of John and Dena (Wibben) Ysbrand. She attended rural school and grew to womanhood there. She was united in marriage to Harm H. Nordmann on August 12, 1932 in Sioux Falls, SD. Seven children were born to this union. They made their home on farms near Lennox their entire married life. He died on Oct. 9, 1951. She and her family then moved into Lennox. On Oct. 12, 1965,she married Wiepko "Bill" Freese in Lennox. They lived in Lennox their entire married life. He died on Mar. 22, 1975. She continued to live in Lennox until she became a resident of Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls in January of 1992. Besides her parents and husbands,she was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Geraldine in 1933; one son, Ronald Nordmann, on Nov. 14, 1992; one great-grandchild; five brothers and three sisters. She was the last surviving member of the John and Dena Ysbrand family. Survivors include her daughter, Rose Miller of Sioux Falls; four sons: Kenneth Nordman of Lennox, Harley Nordmann of Chancellor, Joe Nordman and Roger Nordman, both of Sioux Falls; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
