Description	:	Following a valiant battle with cancer, Roger L. "Tiny" Nordman died at his home northeast of Tea, SD on Nov.27, 2002 at the age of 57 years, eight months and 14 days. Roger L. Nordman was born in Lennox on Mar. 13, 1945, the son of Harm and Pauline (Ysbrand) Nordman. He grew up and attended grade and high school in Lennox. He served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1965. Read More	Following a valiant battle with cancer, Roger L. "Tiny" Nordman died at his home northeast of Tea, SD on Nov.27, 2002 at the age of 57 years, eight months and 14 days. Roger L. Nordman was born in Lennox on Mar. 13, 1945, the son of Harm and Pauline (Ysbrand) Nordman. He grew up and attended grade and high school in Lennox. He served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1965. He had been married to Shirley Plucker. Three children were born to this marriage. On Jun. 19, 1987 he was united in marriage to Marlene Crandall in Sioux Falls. Following their marriage they lived in Sioux Falls, Colorado, and most recently in the house Tiny built near Tea. Tiny was a carpenter most of his life, operating his own construction company. He built many homes in the area until ill health forced his retirement earlier this year. He was preceded in death by his father, Harm, on Oct. 9, 1951; his mother, Polly Friese, on Mar. 16, 1996; one infant sister, Geraldine in 1933; two brothers: identical twin, Ronald Nordman on Nov. 14, 1992 and Leland "Joe" Nordman on Apr. 16, 1996. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Marlene; three children: Clint Nordman, of Viborg, Kurt Nordman and his wife, Kari, of Westminster, CO, and Jaki Tuenge and her husband, Brian of Sioux Falls; two stepchildren: Scott Stoops and Brenda Newell and her husband, Chad, all of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; one sister, Rose Miller, of Sioux Falls; two brothers: Kenneth Nordman, of Lennox, and Harley Nordman, of Chancellor.
