FACCIANO DEAD Passes Away After Week’s Illness With Typhoid Fever Mrs. Pauline Facciano, aged 25 years, wife of Andrew Facciano, died at the Homestake hospital at seven o’clock this morning after a week’s illness with typhoid fever. The remains have been removed to the family home, 628 Prospect avenue and funeral services will take place Saturday morning at 10 o’clock from St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Interment will be made in South Lead cemetery. Mrs. Facciano, who was born in Lead and received her education in the schools of this city, was a young woman who enjoyed the respect and admiration of many friends. Her untimely death is a source of keen sorrow, not only to her relatives but those who knew her in the school room and during her life since that time. She is survived by her husband and two children; one a daughter of 14 months and an infant son of two months. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Lucy Peretti, a sister, Mrs. Joe Marchiando, and two brothers, Guido and Jim Peretti, a cousin, James Peretti of the Lead police force and an uncle, Joe Marchiando Lead Daily Call, Saturday, May 25, 1918, page 4: The funeral of the late Mrs. Pauline Facciano, wife of Andrew Facciano, aged 23 years, took place this morning from St. Patrick’s cathedral and was attended by many friends of deceased and her family. She leaves an infant son and daughter. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery, South Lead.
