Peggy Jean was born March 15, 1962, at Fremont to Walter Lee and Nancy Ann (Andersen) Biskeborn. She spent her childhood in the Ord and North Loup areas, where she received her education and graduated from Ord High School in 1980. Following high school, Peggy returned to Fremont, where she worked at various jobs. She met Joe Haywood and moved to Scottsbluff in 1991. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Peggy Jean was born March 15, 1962, at Fremont to Walter Lee and Nancy Ann (Andersen) Biskeborn. She spent her childhood in the Ord and North Loup areas, where she received her education and graduated from Ord High School in 1980. Following high school, Peggy returned to Fremont, where she worked at various jobs. She met Joe Haywood and moved to Scottsbluff in 1991. While in Scottsbluff, she received her CNA certification and worked in nursing at Northfield Villa for 14 years and then at the Veterans Home, Golden Living and Heritage nursing homes until 2014. Peggy then made her home in Oconto with her significant other, Clayton Oxford. She continued her nursing home care at the Callaway Hospital until her last days. Peggy enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and playing with her cats. Survivors include a brother, Charles Biskeborn of Fremont; two sisters, Marianne Biskeborn of Ord and Connie Greenland of North Loup; her significant other, Clayton Oxford of Oconto; and nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Walter Lee Biskeborn Jr.
