Description	:	HIGH POINT - Mr. P.M. Caudle, Jr., 77, a resident of Chesterridge Dr., died Monday, June 14, 1999, at the High Point Regional Hospital, following several months of declining health. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at the Rankin Memorial United Methodist Church by the Rev. Lee Pollock. Burial will follow in New Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Randleman. P.M. was born in High Point, Aug. 14, 1921, a son of Percy M. and Mary Eliza White Caudle. Burial will follow in New Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Randleman. P.M. was born in High Point, Aug. 14, 1921, a son of Percy M. and Mary Eliza White Caudle. He was a lifelong resident of High Point and a graduate of the High Point High School Class of 1940. P.M. was an Army veteran of W.W.II, serving in the European and Asiatic Theaters. He was personnel officer, with the Veterans Administration Winston- Salem Office for 30 years, retiring in 1976. P.M. was a member of Rankin Memorial United Methodist Church, Treasurer of the United Methodist Men, a member of the Historical committee, and past president of Christian Fellowship Club. He was also a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Winston-Salem Chapter. P.M. was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Tressie Caudle, Iris Jones, and Vallie Cannon. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Faye Hucks and her husband, Boyd of High Point, Miss Artis Caudle of the Evergreens, and Miss Myra Caudle of the home; a brother, Beverly Caudle and his wife, Ramona of High Point; three nieces and five nephews. The body will remain at the Harold C. Davis Funeral Home until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Rankin Memorial United Methodist Church, 314 Barker St., High Point, NC 27262.
