He was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Lawrence, the son of Perry Omer Buck Sr. and Bessie Virginia Heine Buck. Mr. Buck was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Lawrence. He was born Dec. 8, 1920, in Lawrence, the son of Perry Omer Buck Sr. and Bessie Virginia Heine Buck. Mr. Buck was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Lawrence. Survivors include two sons, Perry Omer Buck III, Lawrence, and Robert Louis Buck, in Jefferson County; a daughter, Cheryl Evilsizor, Lecompton; a sister, Lucy Schneck, Lawrence; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence. Mr. Buck will lie in state from noon to 9 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home in Lawrence where visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Hospice and sent in care of the funeral home.
