Description	:	PETER MYERS PASSES AWAY _______________________ Peter Myers was born at Jamestown, Ohio, August 14, 1847 and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Iva H. Myers at Hemingford, Nebraska, April 2, 1923, at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 19 days. Grandpa Myers, as he was known to almost all who knew him, had been failing in health for almost two years, the immediate cause of his death being jaundice. Read More	PETER MYERS PASSES AWAY _______________________ Peter Myers was born at Jamestown, Ohio, August 14, 1847 and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Iva H. Myers at Hemingford, Nebraska, April 2, 1923, at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 19 days. Grandpa Myers, as he was known to almost all who knew him, had been failing in health for almost two years, the immediate cause of his death being jaundice. Mr. Myers was married on January 13, 1871 to Ellen Mauller, who departed this life March 23, 1884. To this union four children were born, all of whom survive the father and mother. Mr. Myers was later married to Mollie Woodrow on March 20, 1889, whe also prededing her husband in death. Mr. Myers came to Iowa at the age of nine years. He was a farmer all his life and spent practically all his working days on farms of Iowa near Belle Plaine. Grandpa Myers was a genial, pleasant person, always meeting his friends with a greeting or joke. He leaves to mourn his loss, his four children: Mrs. Iva H. Myers of Hemingford, Nebraska; J.K. of Cedar Rabpids; C. C. of Maucoun, Sask., Canada and O. E. Myers of Belle Plaine; two brothers, C. D. and B. F. of Cedar Rapids; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends wherever he was known.
