Description	:	Mr. Peter Westra died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 5th, 1942, of a complication of illnesses at his home at the age of 67 years and 10 months. August 16, 1897, Peter Westra was united in marriage to Miss Johanna Schut at Sioux Center by Rev. De Pree. To this union 11 children born. All are living except Fanny, who passed away at the age of 7 years. Boeve of Hull and Pearl at home, and 35 grandchildren. Also 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held Wednesday from the First Reformed church in charge of Rev. Douwstra. Interment was in the Hull cemetery. Alton Democrat 1942-09-11.
