Description	:	Peter Thomas Marchildon (Tom) as he was known, came to the Blindman District to live on NE 35-42-3-W5 in the spring of 1929 with his sons Wilfred and Jerome. The section of land was owned by J. Damron and B. Thorp. Tom and his sons farmed the whole section of which some was bushland. Tom was born in Lafontaine,Ontario,and married Matilda Donnelly. They came first to homestead SW28-43-3-W5 the La- vesta District. Jerome was born on Pat Donnelly's homestead, the north east quarter of section 36:42:3:W of 5th, in 1911. Celia was born on the homestead in the Lavesta District.
