Description	:	Hobart Percy Hampton, the eldest son of Balis Worth and Ann Luella Hampton was born at Ravenwood, Missouri. Dec. 29, 1896. He departed this life, June 27, 1956 at the age of 59 years, 5 months and 29 days. Educated In the rural schools of Western Nebraska (Dundy county) and Forrester District School South and west of Emerson. Hobart enlisted in the U. S. Read More	Hobart Percy Hampton, the eldest son of Balis Worth and Ann Luella Hampton was born at Ravenwood, Missouri. Dec. 29, 1896. He worked with his father at Tabor after his return from service. He was united In marriage on May 8, 1946 to Miss Geraldine Combs. Geraldine passed away March of 1948. Hobart married Aliss Margie Decker of Emerson. His father, mother, and five Brothers preceed him In death. His faithful and devoted wife, Margie, two brothers: Duane of Tabor, Iowa, Duard of Salem, Oregon and a sister, Vyrle Timson of Tabor, Iowa, two neices and two nephews survive him. Hobart was a devoted son, brother and husband. Friends say he was always ready with a helpng hand when needed, and ready a assist friend or neighbor. He enjoyed his work, the church. August 4, 1940 he was baptized ind united with First Baptist Church, Emerson. He was a member of Levi Burton Post 575 of The American Legion. His wife and home being his first thought, Hobart will be greatly missed by members of his famlly, and host of friends and neighbors. Mansfield Funeral Home cared for arrangements and burial in the Emerson cemetery. Malvern Leader, Thursday, July 5, 1956
