Description	:	Phillip Wellington Miller, the third son of Jacob and Lydia A. Miller, was born in Delaware County, Ohio, June 14, 1857, and died at his home in Eureka, Kansas, November 15, 1919, at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 1 day. He moved with his parents to Gentry, Missouri in September 1868, and from there to Green County, Missouri 1871. In Green County he was married to Orlena C. Turk in October 1878. They came to Greenwood County, Kansas in October 1881, and have since made the home in this community, most of... Read More	Phillip Wellington Miller, the third son of Jacob and Lydia A. Miller, was born in Delaware County, Ohio, June 14, 1857, and died at his home in Eureka, Kansas, November 15, 1919, at the age of 62 years, 5 months and 1 day. He moved with his parents to Gentry, Missouri in September 1868, and from there to Green County, Missouri 1871. In Green County he was married to Orlena C. Turk in October 1878. They came to Greenwood County, Kansas in October 1881, and have since made the home in this community, most of the time on a farm in Bachelor township, but in recent years have lived in Eureka. Mr. Miller leaves a wife and five children, Walter W. Miller of Sulpher Springs, Texas, Bernard W. Miller, Mrs. Goldie Conner, Miss Della Miller, and Leo L. Miller all of Spokane, Washington. He is survived by five brothers and one sister; G.W. Miller, J.W. Miller, F.W. Miller of Eureka, S.W. Miller of Neodesha, D.W. Miller of Neal and Mrs. T.J. Gibson of Wureka. One brother and one sister preceded him to the spirit world. Mr. Miller has not been in robest health for a number of years, but has been able to be about most of the time and so uncomplaining was be that many of his friends failed to realized his physical condition. He was a man of genial temperament, always ready with a joke or a smile, and his passing is a severe blow to his family and friends. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. P. Mennenoeh assisted by John Redman who read a sketch of the life of the deceased, was held from the Baptist Church this afternoon, (Thursday November 20,) and interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
