Rachel married Alexander Whittle on August 17, 1840 in Bolton-le-Moors, Lancashire, England. They arrived in New South Wales, Australia with Elizabeth Morley Whittle b. July 14, 1839 on March 11, 1841 - Ship: Brothers. Alexander had a hotel on what is now the bay in Sydney Harbor, Australia.
