Description	:	Raymond Dinelli, 92, of 1336 140th Street of Plainfield, Iowa died Sunday, March 10, 2002 at the Waverly Municipal Hospital in Waverly of natural causes. He was born on February 7, 1910 in Spring Valley, Illinois, the son of Eugenio and Lucrezia (Frankie) Dinelli. The family moved to Iowa locating in Douglas Township, Bremer County in 1919 and later in 1929 immediately west of Horton, Iowa. Read More	Raymond Dinelli, 92, of 1336 140th Street of Plainfield, Iowa died Sunday, March 10, 2002 at the Waverly Municipal Hospital in Waverly of natural causes. He was born on February 7, 1910 in Spring Valley, Illinois, the son of Eugenio and Lucrezia (Frankie) Dinelli. The family moved to Iowa locating in Douglas Township, Bremer County in 1919 and later in 1929 immediately west of Horton, Iowa. Raymond attended school in Cherry, Illinois as well as country school in Douglas Township, Bremer County. He assisted his family's farming activities following their move to Iowa until his father's death in 1931. Thereafter, he was the principal operator of the family farm in excess of fifty years, retiring in the early 1980's. In recent years, he was a resident of the Shell Rock Healthcare and Clarksville Community Care facilities. Ray is survived by a sister, Maria Balducchi of Cordova, Tennessee; a brother, Louis Dinelli of Chesterfield, Virginia; six nephews, Gary Boveia of Waverly, Iowa, David Balducchi of Harlington, Virginia, Joseph Dinelli of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Albert Balducchi of Cordova, Tennessee, Tony Dinelli of St. Augustine, Florida and Michael Dinelli of Chesterfield, Virginia; six nieces, Myrna Uhlenhopp of Clarksville, Iowa, Lynda Cook of Vickerville, California, Raya Jeanne Rawson of Hastings, Minnesota, Lola Harris of Amelia, Virginia, Bonnie McDorman of Chester, Virginia and Catherine Hope of Chesterfield, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, on November 2, 1931; his mother, on October 6, 1978; three brothers, Lawrence in infancy, Pepheno (Joe) Dinelli in 1980, and Alfhio Dinelli in 2001; two sisters, Lena Dinelli in 1991 and Albina Boveia in 1994. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2002 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waverly with Father Mike Tauke presiding. Burial will be in the Harlington Cemetery, Waverly, Iowa. Visitation will be on Friday, March 15, 2002 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and a Scripture Service held at 7:00 pm Friday evening all at the Funeral Home in Waverly, Iowa. The family suggests that memorials be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
