Description	:	Mrs. Rebecca Fee Cain, wife of Matthew A. Cain, died at her home on North Central avenue, Canonsburg Friday evening, February 16, 1906, of pneumonia, aged about fifty years. Some two weeks ago Mrs. Cain was taken ill of measles. On Tuesday morning of this week pneumonia set in, and she rapidly grew worse until the time above given, when she passed peacefully to rest. Mrs. Cain is survived by her husband and one daughter Hazel. Another daughter, Blanche, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Cain in 1881. She died in young womanhood after a brief illness... Mrs. Cain is survived by her husband and one daughter Hazel. Another daughter, Blanche, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Cain in 1881. She died in young womanhood after a brief illness in August 1901. Mrs. Cain was the daughter of the late John Fee of Chartiers Township, and was a sister of John N., Samuel G., Ellis G. and Jas. Harvey Fee of Chartiers township, and of David H. and Wm. H. Fee of Canonsburg. Miss Lyde A. Fee of Chartiers township is a sister. Mrs. Cain was born and lived until she was married, in 1880, on the Fee homestead in Chartiers township. In early womanhood she made a profession of her faith in Christ, and united with the Cross Roads United Presbyterian church. On removing to Canonsburg she and her husband became members of the Central Presbyterian church. Mrs. Cain was a good woman; devoted to her husband and children; intelligent, kind and with charity for all, and was liked and held in high regard by all her acquaintances and friends. Last November Mr. and Mrs. Cain celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage. Mrs. Cain, although her last illness was of but brief duration, had not been in the best of health for several years. The death of her daughter was a stroke so sudden and overwhelming that from its effects she never fully recovered. Now she has gone to be with the loved child, father and mother, and other dear friends who have gone before. The funeral services of Mrs. M.A. Cain will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
