Dieckman, Life Long Resident Of Pekin Died Today Raymond Dieckman, 342 Ann Eliza street, a life long resident of Pekin died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at St. Francis hospital in Peoria, he was taken to the hospital five weeks ago and three days ago underwent an operation from which he failed to rally. Dieckman, Life Long Resident Of Pekin Died Today Raymond Dieckman, 342 Ann Eliza street, a life long resident of Pekin died this morning at 7:30 o'clock at St. Francis hospital in Peoria, he was taken to the hospital five weeks ago and three days ago underwent an operation from which he failed to rally. He was born in Pekin March 27, 1861 and his marriage which was to Miss Elizabeth Hofferbert took place here in 1881. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Jones, Mrs. Elsie Herold and Mrs. Alma Kitterman, and a son, Alfred Dieckman, all of Pekin. He also leaves one brother, John Dieckman residing in Iowa. Mr. Dieckman was an industrious reliable man and a good citizen. For many years he had been engaged as a fish dealer. His market was located just north of the Terminal bridge and products of this market were shipped to many of the largest markets of the country. In his business dealing Mr. Dieckman enjoyed the confidence of all with whom he came in contact and he was esteemed highly by all who knew him. The body of Mr. Dieckman was brought to the Noel funeal home pending funeral arrangements.
