Read More	Reuben Loe, 68, Dies Suddenly-- Heart Attack Passes Away At Home Of Daughter Near Churubusco -- Body Taken To Home Of Son, Jesse Loe -- Funeral, Tuesday Reuben Loe, 68, a native of Ohio, died suddenly about 10 o'clock Saturday night from a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. A. Hindman of Allen county who resides east of Churubusco. Mr. Loe who had been in declining health was taken suddenly ill and before a physician could be summoned, passed away. The deceased was a son of David and Sarah Loe and was born in Ohio on January 20, 1861. At the time of his death he was 68 years, 11 months and 8 days old. Surviving are two sons, Henry Loe of Columbia township, and Jesse Loe who resides west of here in Columbia township; five daughters, Mrs. J. A. Hindman of Allen county in whose home he died, Mrs. C. A. Whitbeck of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Charles Plummer of Troy township, Mrs. William Mathias of Richland township, and Mrs. Ralph Beesley of near Larwill; two brothers, John Loe of Columbia township and Joseph Loe of Columbia City. The deceased was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America He was widely known to the county and had many friends who are shocked to learn of his sudden death. The body which was brought to the Luckenbill's Sons funeral chapel Saturday, was taken to the home of Jesse Loe west of Columbia City Monday morning and may be viewed there by friends of the family until the hour of the funeral. Funeral services will be held in the Eberhard church at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Interment will be made in the Eberhard cemetery, CC Post, January 11, 1930, Page 4 Will Of Reuben Loe Entered For Probate The will of the late Reuben Loe has been filed for probate in the Whitley circuit court. The instrument, dated October 3, 1919 and witnessed by Castle S. Bridge and B. J. Bloom provides that after all just debts of the testator are settled and a modest monument erected at his last resting place, the personal property will go to his widow, Mrs. Ida C. Loe. Mrs. Loe was to receive a life estate in the real property and after her death this was to go share and share alike to the children; Mrs. Charles Plummer, Mrs. James Hindman, Mrs. William Mathias, Jesse Loe, Henry Loe, Mrs. C.E. Whitbeck and Mrs. Ralph Beasley. The widow was named executrix. Mrs. Loe however preceded her husband in death after this will was drawn.
