The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday morning, Feb. 2, 2008, in the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church. Interment will follow in the Peaceful Woods Cemetery. Calvary, Quimby, and Boulder Bluff Pentecostal Holiness Churches. Mr. Mitchum was a dealer in forestry and a former logger for many years. Surviving are, his wife, Evelyn Hood Mitchum; a daughter, Martha Mitchum of Aiken; a son, Kenneth A. Mitchum and his wife, Sandy, of Jamestown; three sisters, Ellie Scott of Bonneau, Ella Winn and her husband, Don, of Santee Circle, and Peggy Ballentine of St. Stephen; a brother, Harleston Mitchum and his wife, Doris, of Alvin; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Mitchum, Nicholas Mitchum, Brooke Poole, Cydney Poole, David Tobin, Phillip Tobin, and Becky Ellison; and fifteen great grandchildren.
