Rita was born in Colorado Springs, CO and raised in Simla, CO. She attended Simla public schools and LaMar Junior College. Rita was married to Charlie Muma February 16, 1963 through 1974. Two sons, Lee and Ty, were born to this union. Rita's achievements and successes have become a testament of her many business experiences and training in Real Estate Sales and Management, Mortgage Banking, Insurance Sales and Management. This became an integral part of her convictions of work ethics and moral values, touching not just her sons and grandchildren, but all her family, friends, business associates, and clients. In the late 70's, Rita and her sons moved to their home in The Pinery in Parker, CO. This became the foundation and focal point toward her sons, family members and friends interest and participation in golf. This period of Rita's life played such an important part in her support and dedication of seeing Lee attend Chadron State College and playing football, and Ty attending the University of Wyoming, also playing football. In August 1985, Rita married Keith Dean. They made their home in Steamboat Springs, CO and were small business owners, experiencing many great times while active in The Ambassadors "Red Coats" of the Steamboat Chambers of Commerce. Rita and Keith migrated to Colorado Springs and in the early 90's developed their insurance business. This work was where Rita flourished and became well known in American Republic Insurance of Des Moines, IA, receiving several trips, cruises and awards for achievement. Rita was preceded in death by her father, Thelmer Moore, and is survived by her mother, Laurine (Shorty) Moore, of Simla, CO. She is survived by husband, Keith Dean, who continues to reside at their home in Colorado Springs; son, Lee Muma (Kay) and ex-wife, Crystal; and grandson, Zackory, of Chadron, NE; son, Ty Muma (Kara) and grandsons, Marc, Chad, Jaxon; and granddaughter, Payton, of Parker, CO; brother, Dick (Kathy) Moore of Heyworth, IL; brother, Chuck (Bernie) Moore of Golden, CO; sister, Sharon (Bud) Jolly of Livermore, CA; sister, Shirley (Len) Felix of Olathe, CO; 10 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and great nephews, and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
