Description	:	Robert Edward Slough Sr., 81, of Natural Bridge, died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at his home. Mr. Slough was born on April 19, 1929, in Rockbridge County and was the son of the late Howard Brown Slough Sr., and Carrie Jenkins Slough and also was preceded in death by his wife, Elton C. Slough. He was retired from Burlington after 38 years of service. Mr. Slough is survived by his three children, Robert (Eddie) Slough Jr., of Stuarts Draft, Lonnie Dean Slough, of Buena Vista, Marlane Hardin, of Natural Bridge; three grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren and special nephew, James E. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista.
