Robert (Bob) Glen Boggess, son of Glenn and Ruth Fryer Boggess was born October 6, 1925 at Storm Lake, Iowa and entered into rest October 25, 1987 at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa. His family moved to Villisca when he was two years old and his made his home here since. He attended grade school and high school at Villisca and college at Simpson College.. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War 2. On July 15, 1945, Bob was united in marriage with Joan Winkelman at Albin, Iowa. Six children were born to this union. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bob is survived by his wife, Joan of Villisca; his six children, John Boggess and his wife Jean of West Lafayette, Indiana; Steve Boggess and his wife Carol of Indiana, Iowa; Edward Boggess and his wife Bev of White Bear Lake, Minnesota; Elaine White and husband Howard of Englewood, Colorado; Mary March and her husband Dennis of Tipton, Iowa; and Dave Boggess and his wife Gayle of Nevada, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and one brother, Jim of Villisca, Iowa.
